Qashqai Tribes are Turkish speaking people who are living along four provinces of Isfahan, Chahar Mohal, Fars, Khuzestan and Kerman. About one thousand years ago, they have migrated from the Northern part of the Persian Empire, presently known as Uzbekistan, to the South Western part of Iran.
“Qashqa” in Turkish language means brave. Some statistical figures put the indicates that approximately 3 million Qashqai people are living in this part of Iran. Qashqai tribes have always been very influential in the political affairs of the county.
